By addressing the root causes of criminal behavior and equipping individuals with the necessary tools and support, we empower them to make lasting changes and become productive members of their communities. Steadfast Sparrows Corporation remains steadfast in its dedication to promoting positive change, fostering hope, and creating opportunities for Adults and Youth formally incarcerated to rebuild their lives and contribute to society in a meaningful way that motivates others.

Qualifications & Services

Qualifications for Adults and Youth:

  • Completed the Application Process.

  • Identification and Social Security Card

  • Meeting with the Counselor and Pastor.

  • At least one felony-No Misdemeanors!

  • Participate in an Individualized Plan

  • We take any age-No judgement here!

  • A "WANT" to make yourself a more positive person.

  • You MUST have documentation of your felony, identification and signed consent from your Parole officer - NO EXCEPTIONS.  You will receive a document to have your Parole officer sign.  

  • *Situation Varies depending on if the Youth is in Foster Care.

​​After your Release from TDCJ or TJJD, ALL incoming Erudite receive: A Hope Backpack, full of special resources.

Our GRIT Employment Services:

  • Resume Building by Educated Professionals

  • Volunteer Opportunities for Steadfast Events

  • Job Search/Internship Possibilities (Parents must sign-off permission if youth is approved)

  • Hearty On-Site Pantry for the whole family (Time Varies)

  • Free Medical Care for the whole families (Time Varies)

 

 

Our GRIT Education Services:

  • Special Education Assistance by TEA Certified for those that have documentation of a disability.

  • FAFSA and Texas.Gov Guidance

  • College Readiness

  • School Supplies

  • GED Opportunities
